This seems cool and I wish I had a Playdate to put this on! … but I also think I’d rather solve a few hundred or even a few dozen hand-crafted puzzles instead of literally thousands of computer-generated puzzles.

If you're interested in fine-art-as-picross try Juufuutei Raden's Guide for Pixel Museum. Raden is a VTuber with an art history background so you get a little "explanation from the curator" by her after you finish each puzzle. It's by Jupiter and they are THE picross video game devs.
It’s probably possible to solve with logic if you spend enough time on it. I’ve used hints a couple of times because I was frustrated. The best way to find out is to try the demo!

Can the puzzles be completed using logic? Or will we need to rely on the hint system please?
